Your fist list omits Gaelic football, played in the English speaking country of Ireland. Which basically enhances your point.
The various Polynesian places that play Rugby Union are only secondarily English speaking, arguably. They're as serious as they can be with populations that small.
Australian Polynesia (both of those adjectives intended in "small letter" sense) is at least as English-speaking as Wales.
